This basic point of the book is shown through a multitude of compelling examples. Our brains are remarkably flexible, malleable… plastic. “The Brain that Changes Itself” provides specific compelling evidence to show that these and other beliefs about the brain are dead wrong. I am on a quest to seek out alternative ways to reviews books, and many people have recommended mini-reviews to me as a new format. Therefore, I’m trying something new! This is the first (of hopefully many) graphic novels/comic mini-reviews. Why does this matter? It’s 18 volumes long. But when I was reading, I didn’t take great notes.
